Travel Story: SINGAPORE (day 3)

my third day in Singapore was spent to visit ant tourism site. such as Esplanade, Merlion, and Orchard road.
it's really easy if you have a map of singapore.
at that time, Singapore was raining hard. so we walk around with umbrella and my shoes was soaked. but it was awesome. better than hot weather.
so this is the pictures I took in the third day :)

Travel Story: SINGAPORE (day 2)

i posted travel story: Singapore (day 1) a long time ago. i just remembered i haven't post the second and the third day. i'm so sorry
so. my second day in Singapore was really great! I attend Super Junior Show 3 in Singapore Indoor Stadium. from my hostel, we only need take MRT and alight at Singapore Indoor Stadium Station. by the time we got there, the stadium was filled with many ELF (suju fans) already. in fact, the show started in 7pm, but I arrived there around 11am and many ELF already make a line.

and also there was a stand which selling official merchandise for the show. and the line was sooooo long. and also the stuff was very expensive. so i decided to buy nothing

if you have a VIP ticket which is there is a seat number. you don't have to come so early. because it such a waste. the gate for VIP was opened around hanf an hour before the show begin. and you don't need to make a line because you already has a seat number. if you don't have a seat number or you are in festival class, i suggest you to come before the sunrise hahaha. kidding.

the show staff said we are not allowed to bring camera. but i think it's ok if it's digital camera. me, enno and chella unnie bring digital camera and we hid it under our pants. because before you enter the venue, there was a inspection by the staff. 

inside the venue, digital camera is allowed to take pictures freely. but for SLR camera couldn't. you should take pictures carefully. the staff will ask you to not take pictures.

it's really a GREAT concert!!!! they sang around 30 songs. 3 hours. and I think it was not enough. too bad i cannot attend super show 4 because Heechul didn't join the super show because he enlist for the army :(

but i know someday I'll meet them again :)

btw the concert end in 11pm. and it rained so hard! so I went home to my hostel really soaked. but it was fun. i didn't know that the MRT is still running until midnight.

i didn't take a shower before i slept that night. because I was too exhausted hahaha. however, my two unnir still have energy and the went out again for the dinner hahaha.

Travel Story: Kuala Lumpur

i went to Kuala Lumpur only for three days, so I can't explore much there. all I did there is just shopping and took very few pictures.
i went there with my lil bro and mom. we went by airplane, airasia. at that, I don't know how my mom can got a very cheap tickets. remember, when you want to go abroad. look for the cheapest price you can get. and don't forget about the safety, because it also important. i recommended you airasia. beside it is cheap, and it is also safe, and rarely delay.
from the airport, you can take airbus to reach the city. it took almost 2 hours. idk, I forget cause i sleep in the road to the city hehehe.
when i arrived at my hotel, it's already around 6pm. so we immediately went out again for dinner. we took train and this is the ticket

one ticket for one journey only. it's really interesting anyway. because in indonesia we dont use it.

bukit bintang is our first visit in kuala lumpur. aaaaannnnddd I love it!! i think it's because I love shopping, and I love mall hahaha

i took this two pictures in front of a mall in bukit bintang. and I forgot the name. and then, we took dinner there and I realllllllyyyyyy love my spaghetti with octopus sauce. it sooooo damn delicious

omg suddenly i'm hungry now hahaha.

so that's my first day there

second day, we went to the twin towers in the morning. took a monorail, and from the station, we should walk a really loooong street and I was really tired. the weather also hot. oh I'm almost forget, I went there in the middle of july. so it still summer and pretty hot

because we were already too tired, so we only look at it for a while, then we went back to the station and decided to took some lunch. we went to bukit bintang again hahaha. and we had a great time shopping there. what great about travel with parents is we don't have to pay anything. so I was free to buy anything i want hahaha.

that was a really interesting experience. glad my mom loves shopping also. i promise i'll back to kuala lumpur someday. and explore more. :)

Assignment: PRAGMATICS

this is my final paper for my pragmatics class in English Studies program 3rd semester. it is about cooperative principle and maxim. I'm so sorry it is brought by Bahasa Indonesia. at that time, I really not in the mood to write paper in English hehehe. so I hope my assignment can help :) please put me as your credit if you want to copy my task ;)

COOPERATIVE PRINCIPLE

            Cooperative principle adalah bagaimana seseorang berinteraksi dengan orang lain. Sebenarnya hal ini menjelaskan apa dasar-dasar atau prinsip-prinsip dalam suatu interaksi suatu individu dengan individu yang lain. Dalam suatu perbincangan atau pembicaraan, si pembicara berasumsi bahwa si pendengar dapat bekerja sama dalam berinteraksi agar mereka bisa mencapai target yang diinginkan dalam perbincangan atau pembicaraan tersebut. Karena itulah, si pembicara berasumsi bahwa si pendengar mempunyai basis ketentuan-ketentuan yang sama dengan si pembicara.

            Namun ada kalanya terjadi suatu kesalahan dalam berkomunikasi atau berinteraksi dikarenakan beberapa faktor. Faktor-faktor tersebut bisa saja karena perbedaan budaya dan pengalaman linguistik yang berbeda antara si pembicara dan pendengar. Dan hal tersebut mengarah kepada asumsi yang salah. Karena itulah diperlukan dasar-dasar dalam berinteraksi atau berkomunikasi. Menurut Grice, dasar-dasar tersebut dibagi menjadi empat conversational maxims, diantaranya adalah: quantity, quality, relation, dan manner.

Quantity: maxim ini adalah dimana suatu percakapan harus mengetahui batas maksimum dan minimum suatu informasi untuk diucapkan.

Quality: maxim ini adalah dimana suatu perkataan harus benar adanya dan tidak mengada-ada atau salah, dan juga harus mempunyai bukti-bukti

Relation: maxim ini adalah dimana suatu percakapan harus berkaitan dan saling berhubungan

Manner: maxim ini adalah dimana suatu perkataan harus jelas, tidak boleh ambigu.

Term 3 and Holiday

I've finished my 3rd term. it's only 4 months hahaha, I can't believe it, it's unbelievably fast.
I got sooo much experience in this term. first from all the classes. I love all the classes I took in this term, except   indonesian history -___- Idk, I just don't like that class. I love Development of English Literature and Culture class the most. it's so damn interesting. too bad I cannot study about in that class anymore hiks. I really love to study the history of England though it's really hard to remember the kings and queens. In this term also, my faculty had so much event. one of them is 'Festival Budaya'. I had so much fun in this event, my english studies friends are so lovable. ooooh god I miss them already hahaha. aaah! International Translation Symposium was also the best experience I've ever had!! thanks god I attended that event, this made me more sure about my decision to become translator and choose linguistic as my 'skripsi' later.
for my holiday, it's different from other previous holiday. I didn't plan anything for this holiday. nothing to do, nowhere to go, and no one to meet. I think I'll just stay in my room and read some novels or watch dvd -__- sad, huh? or maybe I can date my boyfriend. But still, I want to go abroad again like the previous holiday :( yeah maybe later. I should save my money for going to korea hahaha *positive thinking*
so now, I still waiting for my scores. yes! my scores haven't come up until now. and it's D-3 until the last day of the lecturer can publish our scores. they always said we cannot be procrastinator, but in fact, they are!
hhh~ wish me luck for my scores. hope my GPA will more than 3. amen
